Losing your card or suspecting unauthorized activity can be stressful but with QIB, you’re always in control. Through the QIB Mobile App, you can block your card instantly with a few taps, keeping your account secure at all times.

How to block your card?

If your card is lost, stolen, or used for a fraudulent transaction, simply:

  • Log in to the QIB Mobile App.
  • Tap on the card you wish to block.
  • Go to Manage Card and toggle the Deactivate button.

Your card will be blocked temporarily, preventing any unauthorized use.

How to request a replacement card?

If you wish to permanently block your card and receive a new one, tap on More → Replace My Card. QIB will:

  • Permanently block your existing card.
  • Issue a replacement card and deliver it securely to your registered address through Qatar Post (QPost).
  • Once issued, you can activate your new card digitally and add it to your digital wallet to start using it instantly – even before your physical card arrives.
  • With QIB, security and convenience go hand in hand, giving you peace of mind whenever and wherever you bank.
