What is the secure online card payments feature?

Secure Online Card Payments is a free service that provides an additional security layer for your online QIB Credit and Debit Card transactions.

In association with Visa and Mastercard, QIB has introduced an easy-to-use service to further enhance the security of Internet-based payments, giving you peace of mind while performing transactions online. Each time you use your QIB Credit or Debit Card for an online purchase, a new window will appear requesting you to enter a one-time password (OTP).

• If you are registered for the QIB Aman App, you can generate an OTP through the application. The app is available for Apple, Android, and BlackBerry devices.
• If you opt for SMS OTP, you will receive an SMS containing the OTP on your registered mobile number.

This service is provided and verified in association with 3D Secure services, including “Verified by Visa” and “Mastercard Secure Code”. For maximum customer protection, online purchases and payments using Debit Cards are permitted only on 3D Secure–enabled portals.
